Financial Services

Reach the next customer, not the one already comparing offers.

IntentKey builds audiences from what people are reading right now — and shows you why the audience is forming.

Arrive when the decision opens.

IntentKey reads what people are engaging with right now, so you reach households while the money decision is still forming — before the comparison forms go in and every provider in the category is bidding on the same shoppers.

Reach past your own customer file.

Audiences built from how people actually work a financial decision — what they look up, what they compare, what they check before committing — return new customers that your file, and your lookalikes, never surface.

Runs everywhere, built to the plan.

Display, video, CTV, native and audio — one audience across all of them if that suits the plan, or a separate model built for CTV, or for filing season, or for a single market.

See which markets are moving.

Down to the state and ZIP, so budget follows the places where shopping is actually building rather than spreading evenly across the ones where it isn’t.

How it works

Scored on what’s being read, right now.

Every impression is judged on the content around it, not on a profile built last month. No cookies, no lists, nothing that depends on tracking.

Live audiences

Financial services audiences, forming right now.

Built from what people are reading right now — grouped by the decision people are working through, not by the product they end up buying.

Proof

Proven across insurance, tax, college savings and cards.

Hands on the steering wheel of a car, dashboard in view

An auto insurer found new customers at the first moment they shopped.

The test was set deliberately hard: find genuinely new customers at scale in one of the most crowded categories in advertising, measured against a control group. IntentKey found them at the moment shopping began — looking up vehicle registration, checking what a car was worth, comparing policies — and reached them there, ahead of the other insurers. Cost per new customer came in 87% below goal, brand lift ran 80% above the control group, and the campaign reached 240% more new customers than its target.

87%Below cost-per-customer goal

An auto insurance company

75%Lower cost per new savings account

A study of the program’s own contributors showed the largest group of savers was grandfathers — financially savvy, looking for a meaningful way to invest in family. Rewritten around that, it reached 75% of a two-year growth goal in four months.

A state college savings program
36%Below cost goal at filing time

The strongest audience sat where two interests overlapped: a clear intent to file, and active efforts to avoid crowded places. It was still finding people who had not filed in the last two weeks, and the budget doubled mid-campaign.

An online tax service
23%Lower cost per card application

Two audiences at once — holders of competing cards showing signs of switching, and people actively planning trips — judged on applications rather than clicks. It became the issuer’s top display partner.
